Hello Abernethy Community,

It’s that time of year when we get to show our appreciation for the support staff at Abernethy. This year we are fundraising for gifts for 24 adults in the building and 3 bus drivers. All gifts will be delivered to support staff during the last day of school before the winter school closure, Friday December 19th. 

Last year we raised $2300 resulting in $93 gift cards for every support staff member.

When considering your donation, think of the non-classroom teachers, para-professionals, counselor, learning center support, health room, office staff, bus drivers, custodial staff and cafeteria staff who ensure that our children feel safe and supported during the school day.

Please know that contributing to a seasonal group gift for your teacher or support staff (classified staff)  is completely voluntary and any amount is appreciated. This fundraising is separate from any coordination by Classroom Leads for your teacher gifts. We’re so grateful to all of the volunteers who really bring us together in support of our Abernethy Community.
