Auction Party - An Artful Affair

Flow of the Party:

5:00 PM — Check in, grab a drink, and mingle. Don't be late — the fun starts right away.

6:00 PM — A few words from Principal Dunn.

6:30 PM — Dinner is served! Dig into a buffet from the one and only Por Que No.

7:00 PM — The Live Auction begins. This is what we've been waiting for!

7:30 PM — Mr. H takes the mic.

7:45 PM — The bidding resumes. May the best paddle win.

8:00 PM — Drinks, dessert, and pure merriment.

10:00 PM — After-party at Rhinestone (21st & Clinton) - Donating 10% to Abernethy.

FAQs

Who's invited? This one is adults-only (the PTA has Carnival coming up for the little ones later this year). Buy a ticket for a friend, a neighbor, a cousin or a date! And we mean it when we say we never want cost to be a barrier — reach out to auction@supportabernethy.org for reduced or complimentary tickets.

How does bidding work? You'll get a paddle at check-in. Raise it if you want to bid — no pressure if you'd rather just cheer everyone on. Browse the LIVE AUCTION items ahead of time and consider teaming up with friends on one of the vacation home packages!

What do I wear? Think Gallery Glam — bold colors, your favorite art, quirky collector energy. Or just show up. We want you there, full stop. If you can't find anything, you can bid on the perfect dress and it'll be delivered to you on Friday!

What else should I know? The food/beverage is stacked this year. Drinks are from Level Beer & Hammerling Wines & signature cocktails/mocktails. There will be a live artist doing portraits (sign up to reserve your portrait) and a poet writing personalize poetry. We'll have a surprise local celebrity showing up that you do not want to miss (I'm already fan-girling). This will be the party of the year!!
