Auction Wrap up and Results!

Here’s the wrap up for the auction which includes huge thanks to everyone who helped out, big or small, we couldn’t have done it without you! We would name you but we don’t want to miss anyone. Needless to say this completely volunteer and community led event couldn’t have happened nor would it have been such a success without so many helpful volunteers and generous donations. Thank you so, so much! It was an amazing night and we raised tons of money for our school.

 

We have to give a special thanks to our big item donors:

  • Our amazing hosts at 1600 SE Division. They are very generous community members that host this one event just for us. They don’t charge us a dime for it and are amazing for doing it! It allows us to stay close enough that people are able to walk, bus or bike to the venue. It’s so amazing. Thank you!!

  • Parents and community members donated time at their vacation and/or rental homes, plane rides, etc. valued at thousands of dollars and raised so much for our school. Thank you!! 

  • These companies donated over $500 worth of goods or discounts: Hammerling Wines, Mathnasium, Steve and Kate’s camp, Mestizo, Elite Luxury Restrooms, Block Party Barricades, Nick Mendez Photography, Lone Fir Fitness, Peter Corvallis Rentals, Frog Pond Farm and Adrift Hospitality. Thank you!

  • Parents donated items, reached out to their employers, handmade items, etc. Thank you!

  • Many local businesses provided gift cards, tours, merchandise and or discounts. Thank you!

 

And now for the juicy details you’ve been waiting for:

Ticket sales: $9,626.52 ($8000 spent on the event comes from this and is deducted from the total you see below)

Raffle: $1084.72

Boxes and Bottles Game: $817.37

Live (In person) Auction: $15,275.00

Tips to the PTA: 155.00

Paddle Raise: $9,500.00

Silent (Online)  Auction: $9,204.00

Buy In Parties: $2,869.53…and going!! These will be open until 1-2 weeks prior to the date of the event. Go and join a party! They’re lots of fun, they’re fairly inexpensive and your hosts are so excited to have you. There are still spots left at these parties: Adopt an Eagle Paint Party, Lotería and Nachos Party, Taylor Swift Yoga Party, She-bop Party, Permanent Jewelry with Soiree & Happy Hour Party, Bluey Bites and Backyard Fun Party, Parent’s Escape Drop off babysitting playdate Party, Glow and Go Bike Safety Decorating Party, and Baerlic Brewing Tour and Tasting Party. Once they’re gone, that’s it, so don’t delay!

We really want to see every student at the school wide buy-in party! For a small $20 donation your Abernethy student can have an amazing time and you can just drop them off; no need to stay. Your lovely Abernethy teachers will take good care of them for a few hours.

AMAZING JOB EVERYONE! This could still go up! Get in on those buy in parties; they’re going to be a lot of fun!

 

If your item is marked as paid you can go pick it up from Britt Windler or Rachel Hammerling at the Gazebo after school today or tomorrow. If that doesn’t work for you, you can email them or message them on Betterworld to make arrangements.
