Do you struggle to store all of your coffee mugs? Do you get a new one every year? Maybe you have a couple from promotional events? Could you get rid of a couple?
We could purchase mugs for a couple of our crafts but wouldn't it be so special if every family donated just one - knowing that it will likely end up in a home very near to your own?
We're hoping you'll do just that. Could you please donate 1-4 coffee mugs? Only if you need the extra space or have too many - we're not desperate, please don't part with anything special; we can go to goodwill and buy them if we don't get enough donations. I just think it's so much more fun as a sort of mug exchange. After all, your child might be the one who buys it back for you or buys a different one and it's so much more meaningful because your child chose that mug for you.
If you could get them to me by Dec 5th we should have enough time to fill them with goodies before the big day on Dec 11. I will place a tub outside at drop off on Wednesday Dec 3rd labeled "MUGS for Holiday Shoppe". Bubble wrapped (amazon envelope? - mark out your address?) mugs are much appreciated.
We are also in need of the following items:
- Medium size take out or gift bags. Each student needs one. We have about 70/~300 so far.
- 4-8oz wide mouth glass or plastic jars with lid (need 50ish?)
- Tins. Little metal tins. Altoids or other mint tins, tea tins or your empty candle tins (with lid is preferable) anything that's about 4oz of less.
We are also in need of people to sign up for Holiday Shoppe crafting. We're doing a sort of choose your own adventure style crafts. If you need help I will assist as much as possible! Some are easy and don't require any special skills.
