What is the dresscode?

Wear your best sparkles, black, silver, gold, white!  (No one will be turned away so come as you are if this isn't your style.)

Do I have to bid at the party?

No, just enjoy the fun. Eat good food. Drink amazing wine. And hang out with this sweet community of parents and teachers! 

What are you raffling off?

Gift cards worth $35-$60 from Hot Lips, Farina Bakery, Atlas Pizza, etc. Buy your raffle tickets! 

Will there be vegan food?

Yes! Mestizo is doing a broad range of food. Including vegan options AND their menu is ALL gluten-free. 

Will there be non-alcoholic drinks?

Yes! We will have N/A beer, kombucha and seltzer.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! There's a huge group of people going stag. Need someone to talk to? Come find Britt Windler, Rachel Hammerling or Richelle Sandoval - we'll be there and happy to have you!!

When does the Silent Auction end?

The Silent Auction will end Sunday (4/27) at 5:00 pm. 

Can only Abernethy families bid?

No, anyone can bid on the Silent Auction! Send this link to anyone you think would like to bid and win items (not offering shipping so keep it local).

Where does the money go for the Silent Auction?

All the money raised from the party, raffle and Silent Auction goes directly to our school's PTA. The money will be spent on: academic enrichment programs (like Reading Results), classroom resources (school supplies, books, etc.), school community events (carnival, movie nights, etc.), & grounds improvements (fence mending, garden improvement and a new play structure!!)

What's a Buy-In party?

It's an event that someone is hosting. You buy a "seat" at the event. The money goes to the school/PTA and you get to enjoy the event!

I heard there's a school-wide Buy-In party?

Yes! On 5/23 from 6:00-9:00pm, teachers will have their classrooms open and all students can move through the activities in each classroom. If you'd like your kid to go make sure you buy their "seat" here: School-wide Kids' Night Out!
