This lovely person makes sure that all the volunteer shifts are filled. If we do not have enough volunteers for May 17th, this means some games may have to be cancelled. This event always takes place on a Friday afternoon into the evening. Volunteering with the carnival is the best way to kick off your weekend.

This go-getter is responsible for setting up all the games throughout the gym and outdoor space. This person is also responsible for purchasing all the game prizes and ensuring inventory is re-stocked throughout the night. This may include a lot of walking on day of the even to make sure the game stations have all their prizes.

POSITION IS FILLED. However, please look back when we post volunteer shifts because Leah always needs cakes donated AND volunteers to run the music and manage the kids in the auditorium.

Without this key player, the Carnival would not even happen. This person manages volunteers for the full day (May 17th). This person tells the day shift volunteers how to build the gym cubicles (the curtained space) where games like Nose Picker, the Fortune Teller and Spin the Wheel take place. This person also manages the volunteers who take all our supplies out of the basement storage and at the end of the night, this person tells volunteers where to store our items for next year!

Imagine a carnival without the inflatables... children would be crying if there were no inflatables. This person brings all the happiness and joy. This person works with the inflatable company to nail down the contract and then day of Carnival, this person works with volunteers to set up all the inflatables in the outdoor space. This requires managing volunteers who can do heavy lifting and you get to test out the inflatables first!!

This magnificent person does all our graphic design. This person designs our promotional materials including posters, fliers and other printed materials. Graphics is also responsible for contracting with local print shops.
