This group is for the classroom leads so they can share ideas and plan events.  Important dates to be aware of if you are in this group:

After Halloween , start talking to classroom families about the holiday teacher gift.  

March (first week) is staff appreciation week at PPS

May (first week) is teacher appreciation week at PPS

REGARDING STAFF GIFTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR: 

Many class leads are torn between these two ideas -- (1) Ask for money 2-3 times a year for holiday, May and March gifts OR (2) Ask for one lump sum of money upfront and then spread out that lump sum of money throughout the year.  Classroom leads feel torn about repeatedly asking for money so if you feel that way, you might want to elect option #2.  This is a topic that you and your other classroom leads should discuss.
