The PTA is getting ready for our second and last fundraiser for this school year: MOVEATHON!
For this fundraiser, we reach out for community support through sponsorship of the event. Last year we had a great group of local sponsors including many owned by Adams families so we are reaching out to our community to start building our corporate sponsor list for this event. Below are some FAQs on sponsorship for your consideration. Please e-mail ptatreasurer@adamselementary.org with any questions or to become a sponsor by April 8th.
What is the Moveathon?: This is our spring fundraiser for the Adams Elementary School PTA. Every child in the school participates in a fun run outside on the playground during the school day around a course and collects pledges for the number of laps they complete. Parents, teachers and specialists all come to cheer on the kids and there is music, cow bells, mascots, etc!
How much is the sponsorship?
$300 for Adams Family Businesses
What is included with sponsorship?:
- Logo on the back of the t-shirt that every child receives and wears during the Moveathon. Their total laps are tallied on the back of the t-shirt as they are running.
- Logo Banner with sponsors hanging up during the event
- Mentions in e-mails and posts announcing the event to parents and teachers
(As a fun side note - each year a student designs the front design for the shirt - entries for the logo contest are coming home in backpacks now!)

When is the Moveathon? May 15, 2026
How many attend?
- We have about 275 kids at Adams that each receive their t-shirt and wear it for the fun run and their families receive the e-mail/print/social announcements for Moveathon
- We estimate about 100 adults between parents, teachers and support staff attend throughout the event itself.
Is it tax-deductible?
Yes! Adams Elementary PTA is a registered non-profit.
