After-School Programs

Our new winter session of after-school programs begins soon! Registration opened on Sunday and will remain open through January 4.

Due to recent tax changes in Washington State, some classes will now be taxed at a rate of 10.45%. To apply this tax correctly in Homeroom, we created two separate winter sections - Winter Section 1 and Winter Section 2.  Please make sure to explore classes in both sections when enrolling your student.

We’re excited to offer many returning favorites including Coding, Pokémon, and all of Mr. Kellum’s classes, as well as a few new opportunities: Dungeon Masters Gaming and Harry Potter Theater!

Classes run from January 12 through March 27. Register for classes here!

Corporate Match Reminder

Many employers will match your donation and/or your volunteer hours, which is an easy way to secure more resources for Adams! Take these simple steps:

• Confirm eligibility with your Human Resources team and complete the necessary forms
• Make your gift of time (submit your volunteer hours through Benevity or whatever tool your employer uses to track) or treasure (financial contribution flagged for your employer as a match) to Adams Elementary PTA – Tax ID: 91-0963029
• Watch the impact of your dollars and hours supporting our school!

If you need a receipt or assistance to take advantage of corporate matching, please reach out to ptatreasurer@adamselementary.org and include where you donated if you recall (QR code/Konstella/check).

Reflections Art Contest Update

It was lovely to see the enthusiasm and creativity that went into Art Night and the Reflections art entries. Huge thanks to all the volunteers who made this possible, to Ms. Anema for her support and supplies, and to all the students who showed up to create! Please come by the hallway outside the Art Room (Rm 300) where all the beautiful art is displayed!

Of all the artworks submitted, 10 pieces were selected to represent Adams at the Seattle Council PTSA Reflections competition. Congratulations to the finalists below! Keep an ear out for the Seattle Council PTSA Reflections Art Show that will be happening in the new year.

Adams Market

Thank you everyone who donated to and shopped the Adams Market! The market is no longer taking donations but will be open for shopping only through Thursday, Dec. 18. All remaining food will be taken to the Ballard Food Bank before winter break.
