Reflections Art Contest
Our PTA supports the arts! The annual Reflections Arts Contest is a national competition put on by PTAs around the country, providing opportunities for recognition and access to the arts. Students create original works of art in response to a theme.
The theme for 2025–26 is “I Belong.” Entries are judged on creative ability and interpretation of the theme.
Unlike last year, artwork (including an artist's statement) will need to be created at home / after school hours. There will not be time to work on these projects during the school day, so please join us for an arts-making evening where we will work on our visual arts entries together.
Reflections Art Night - Friday 11/14/25 - 6-8pm in the Cafeteria
Volunteers needed!
Come join fellow students and parents in the cafeteria to work on our Reflections submissions together. Supplies will be provided by art teacher Ms. Anema and the PTA. Hope to see you there!
Reflections Entries Due - Friday 11/21/24
Submit to your teacher or bring to the office.
Volunteers are also needed to hang and judge art. Email the PTA Reflections Chair if interested in volunteering or if you have any questions!

The Adams Market
The Adams Market is still up and running to address food insecurity in our community. Located in Room 211, the Adams Market is for ALL FAMILIES.
Please donate extra items OR shop the market:
- DROP OFF non-perishable food items on the playground before school in the box labeled ADAMS MARKET, or in the office during school hours, OR
- SHOP the Adams Market before school from 7:30-8:15am or after school from 2-2:45pm in Room 211.
We will accept any non-perishable goods. The Adams Market may include items such as apples, peanut butter, pasta, rice, jarred marinara, ramen, bagels, canned tuna/chicken, mayonnaise, soups, oatmeal, and cereal.
Any leftover donations will be taken to the Ballard Food Bank when the government pause ends.
Thank you all for being part of our wonderful community!
