I want to address behavior I saw after school today. As I was stopped at the stop sign on 28th & 62nd, waiting for pedestrians to cross, a woman driving a green minivan with dark windows flew around me, running the stop sign and turning left onto 62nd. This was within 5 minutes of school letting out so kids were absolutely everywhere. This behavior is NEVER acceptable. It doesn’t matter if you’re late to pick up, new to driving, whatever. There is no excuse for endangering children. If this was you, your teen, or nanny, please talk to them and reflect on the behavior.
