Hello Adams Community,

What a week...on top of the turmoil this week, we also have a budget process to continue.  Please save the date of Monday, 4/27 @ 6:30PM at Adams for a PTA budget meeting resulting from the survey we sent a few weeks ago around the loss of district funding for one of our specialists.

We had over 90 responses and 60% of you wanted us to make an effort to fund the second specialist so we will be holding a special budget meeting on April 27th to review our draft of what we would need to spend less on and how much money we'd need to raise to fund this next year.  We will also provide a Zoom link so as many of you as are interested can try to attend. 

**Note this is not when we will vote on the final budget for next year, just confirming that the impact this specialist will have on the finances and services the PTA provides is what our community wants. Your feedback in this meeting will inform what budget we present at the May 26th General meeting for approval for the next school year. 

With regards to which specialty we are talking about, the PTA cast two votes for art and two votes for music aligning with how you all voted in the survey.  When combined with the votes from staff, the music specialty was chosen to receive the district funding so we will be presenting how we think the PTA could cover the arts specialty.
