Hello Adams Families,

As winter break draws nearer, we wanted to share a quick reminder that there is still time to contribute towards the optional classroom holiday gifts for teachers (and support staff)!

Room parents were asked to reach out to class families with details about the optional winter holiday group gift for each classroom teacher. If you haven’t seen a message yet, it may have been missed, so we wanted to send a reminder to help make sure every teacher is covered.

If you haven’t heard from your room parent and would like to participate, please feel free to reach out to them directly. If you’re unsure who your room parent is or need help connecting, please contact us and we’ll help get you connected!

Contribution Details

Seattle Public Schools allows up to $100 per family, per teacher, per year, split between the holiday and end-of-year gifts. For the holiday gift, families may contribute any amount up to $50.

Because 25% of each class’s collection supports Adams specialists and support staff, families who wish to may contribute up to ~$65 to keep the teacher portion at $50 while also supporting the staff pool. This will all go to your room parent(s) who then will coordinate to distribute appropriately. 

Everything is completely optional, and there is no pressure to contribute.

Deadline: Monday, December 15th - end of day

If contributing financially isn’t the right choice for your family, cards, notes, drawings, and personal messages are always meaningful and appreciated.
