NEW! PTA President’s Message
Addison Community -
This week we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week. With the generous support of the Addison community, the PTA will be showing our appreciation to each staff member this week in new ways since we can’t gather for our traditional lunch or coffee cart. I encourage all of our students and families to take the time to share your appreciation to our wonderful staff this week. An email, a picture of a homemade card, virtual flowers or any creative way you can think of to share your thanks will certainly brighten a staff member’s day.
Wishing you all health!
NEW! Great Addison Adventure Hunt of 2020 - Week 3
We've seen some amazing "Help Hands" all over the neighborhood! Check out these photos submitted by students this week - Great Addison Adventure Album.
This is Teacher Appreciation week and we’d love to celebrate our amazing teachers & staff with this week's Great Addison Adventure Hunt* theme “We Love Addison Teachers". Make a poster, write something on your sidewalk, or create something completely different! We can’t wait to see what creative ideas your family can come up with.
The PTA is inviting everyone to participate by displaying your work outside your home and/or posting virtually. Send photos of your “We Love Teachers” to firstname.lastname@example.org and with your permission, we’ll share them on the Addison Facebook Page and in the eAdvisor. You can also add your home to the Addison Adventure Map Please note that this map will be accessible to anyone with the link. Only include information you are comfortable sharing publicly. Directions for adding a pin: Directly under the search button on the map, you'll see a pin symbol. Click on this and scroll to your home on the map, then click. You can add a description about your home here.
*The Great Addison Adventure Hunt of 2020 is a way to promote school spirit while we continue to shelter in place and maintain social distancing. Students and families can walk around and hunt for Addison specific items, as well as look at photos of their friends creations on the Addison PTA facebook page. While participating in this community building project, please maintain all county social distancing requirements. Don't knock on doors, ring doorbells, or gather in large groups. If you hunt with friends, please maintain a distance of 6 feet.
