NEW! PTA President’s Message
Addison Community -

We have many new announcements in this week’s eAdvisor, so I am going to keep my contribution very short. If you haven’t responded to the Addison Enrollment Survey for the 2020-21 School Year, please do so as soon as possible. Addison needs this information to plan for the coming school year.

Wishing you all health!

NEW! Yearbook Pictures - Distance Learning
We need your photos of what learning from home looks like to include in the yearbook! Please send photos to or upload to this album. Deadline for submitting photos for consideration is Friday, May 1 at 5 PM.

NEW! Great Addison Adventure Hunt of 2020!
Wow, we've seen some amazing "We Love Addison" signs all over the neighborhood! Check out these photos submitted by students this week - Great Addison Adventure Album

This week's Great Addison Adventure Hunt* theme is "Helping Hands." We'd love to see what creative ideas your family can come up with. You could trace your child's hands in chalk on the sidewalk or make a sign with painted handprints, it's really up to you!

Like last week, the PTA is inviting everyone to participate by displaying your work outside your home and/or posting virtually. Send photos of your “Helping Hands” to and with your permission, we’ll share them on the Addison Facebook Page and in the eAdvisor. You can also add your home to the Addison Adventure Map Please note that this map will be accessible to anyone with the link. Only include information you are comfortable sharing publicly. Directions for adding a pin: Directly under the search button on the map, you'll see a pin symbol. Click on this and scroll to your home on the map, then click. You can add a description about your home here.

*The Great Addison Adventure Hunt of 2020 is a way to  promote school spirit while we continue to shelter in place and maintain social distancing. Students and families can walk around and hunt for Addison specific items, as well as look at photos of their friends creations on the Addison PTA facebook page. While participating in this community building project, please maintain all county social distancing requirements. Don't knock on doors, ring doorbells, or gather in large groups. If you hunt with friends, please maintain a distance of 6 feet.

NEW! Library Learning
There are two ways to be learning with Ms Ohanian each week. The Library lesson slides are posted on the students' Schoology Library Course. The first lesson -  California Young Reader Medal books (CYRM) - allows students to vote for their favorite book. The second lesson includes information about Earth Day using poetry and a new story. The third lesson will be about poetry. Please encourage your children to send Ms. Ohanian notes in Schoology - they can tell me what they liked about the lesson, what activity from the lesson they did, what they are reading, or anything else they would like to tell me.

The other way they can connect with Ms. Ohanian is the weekly ZOOM Story Times, which are updated in Schoology. These are optional story times.  Students can go to their Schoology Library Course and click on the grade levels Zoom Story Time Folder for more information on dates/times. If you have questions about Library Lessons or Story Times, please do not hesitate to contact Ms Ohanian - She would love to hear from your students!

NEW!  Everything is Awesome - Noon LEGO Cart is (Virtually) Back!

This week’s theme, submitted by one of our Master Builder Families is “Animals - real or mythical”. We’ll be meeting by Zoom this week on Thursday - details will be sent via Konstella. If your student would like to participate in this activity and needs LEGO blocks, contact for assistance.
