NEW! PTA President’s Message
Dear Addison Families,
Go Niners! We have many students, teachers and staff members who are part of the 49er faithful community and I hope tonight’s Super Bowl results give us a cause to celebrate!
The PTA Board is working to fill the Nominating Committee for positions to support our community for the 2020-21 school year. Family and community involvement is one of the special things that makes Addison great. Currently we are in immediate need for 4 volunteers to act as members of the committee responsible for recruiting people to fill the slate for next year. These positions are required to comply with our PTA bylaws. This is a great way to help our community and be involved at school. The commitment is a fixed time period (now until the beginning of April) and much of the work can be done over email/phone. If you are interested in helping with the Nominating Committee or have questions about the role, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or reach out to Sarah Gibbs (PTA Parliamentarian) directly.
I’d like to give a special thanks this week to Shira Mowlem and all the staff and parent volunteers who made Inclusion Week a success. With strong support from Principal Boyce and the entire Addison staff, Shira was able to coordinate an all school photo on Wednesday.
