NEW! PTA President’s Message
Happy New Year! Classes resume for all students - hybrid and FDL - on Thursday, January 7th. Don’t forget to submit a health screener for each student on days s/he is attending school in person! The check in process is a critical piece of required protocols to keep teachers, staff and students safe.
As a reminder, the mandatory directive on travel issued by the Santa Clara County Department of Health on November 28, 2020, remains in effect. If you have traveled outside of the county, the following guidelines apply: “Except as otherwise provided in this Directive, all persons traveling into Santa Clara County, whether by air, car, train, or any other means, directly or indirectly from a point of origin greater than 150 miles from the County’s borders must quarantine for at least 10 days after arrival.” More detailed information from the county is available here.
If your family needs to quarantine based on these recommendations, this is considered an excused absence from school. Please contact Principal Boyce regarding arrangements for your student’s learning during this period.
It is critical to keep the safety of our community in mind when planning gatherings and travel. It is only through our combined efforts and responsible decision making that our schools can remain open and accessible for hybrid students to continue to learn in person.
Wishing you all health,
