NEW! Parent Ed: Navigating Remote Learning for Families
Tuesday, October 27th, 7-8pm, EVERYONE IS WELCOME - Mandarin and Spanish translation will be available.
No matter whether you're choosing Hybrid or Full Distance Learning, online learning will continue to play a big part in your child's school experience. To help our families, we're partnering with Challenge Success to provide practical advice on what you can do to support your child's well-being and engagement with learning at home. In addition, we will talk about how parents can assist their children during this time of transition as they move to new learning models, teachers, and classmates. So please join us for what will be an informative evening! To register for the event please click on the link below: https://stanford.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_1QWE8OP6SO2VThU4a-JzrA
Vote Yes on Measure O
Call to Action: Donate online, endorse, advocate!
Volunteers needed to place lawn signs in your school neighborhood. Be a volunteer to help get the word out to voters. Lawn sign and precinct walkers (to get out flyers to each home/business) are needed. Please reach out to fellow parent volunteers: Randolph Tsien at email@example.com or Laura Stark at firstname.lastname@example.org or https://supportpaloaltoschools.org/ The PTA Council supports Yes On O! For almost 20 years, our local parcel tax has generated over $15 million in locally-controlled funding to keep our schools strong. This essential local funding is set to expire soon. Vote YES on Measure O, a parcel tax renewal measure that has been placed on the November 2020 ballot to ensure our schools continue receiving critical funding.
