Family Science Night is this Thursday, February 28, from 6:30-8 pm
The Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose will be providing docents to lead Addison's Family Science Night this Thursday evening.
This year's theme is Super Powers. Students will discover the science secrets behind super heroes' special powers. They will learn about potential and kinetic energy, discover the uses of friction and experiment with elasticity.
Because of on-going construction at Addison, the event will be held in the MP room at Walter Hayes Elementary. Walter Hayes Elementary is at 1525 Middlefield Road, a mere five blocks from Addison.
NY Pizza will be available for all attendees at a cost of $2/slice on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The training session for parent table volunteers by the museum docent will run from 5:45 to 6:30 pm. All volunteers will receive free pizza. The number of experiments that can be run is limited by the number of parent volunteers so please sign up to help on Konstella.
