There will be an Aiken's Got Talent Art Show outside the auditorium, as you walk in, so be sure to check that out too.

THE TALK
Concerned Parents of Color is offering an open discussion about children of color who have educational needs such as IEP's or 504s. This discussion will take place this Wednesday, April 26, from 6:00-7:30PM. See attached flyer for more details and to RSVP.
Mother's Day Shopping:
Save the Date. We will be doing another shopping event with A Good Cause Gifts in West Hartford Center on April 27th from 4:00-7:00PM. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Aiken PTO. See attached flyer for more information.
PARENTS NIGHT OUT IS FRIDAY, MAY 5TH AT THE NORTH HOUSE
Join us for Aiken’s Parents’ Night Out May 5, at 6 pm at the North House. There will be dinner, music, games, a silent and a live auction!
Win a bottle of wine at the wine toss. Grab a prize in our punch board. Or, win the Aiken flag naming competition!

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK May 8th-12th
We are still in need of volunteers for Teacher Appreciate Week. If you are interested in volunteering to help plan and set up Teacher Appreciation Week, which takes place in May, please email aikenptovolunteers@gmail.com.

KP PTO Opportunity:
Is your student headed to KP Middle next year? Would you like to get more involved and help ease your family's transition into middle school by meeting more people? Consider signing up for the KP PTO Board. All positions except Treasurer are available. Put your name in the running by May 1 - elections (if multiple people step up) will be held in early May and the new board will be announced at the May General PTO meeting. More info here:
