Thank you to all of the families that tirelessly support the Aiken community. We felt it was important in these uncertain times to share our approach to fundraising this year. We know that school looks differently, and families are facing an enormous amount of challenges. You may notice that more online fundraisers are coming home than in prior years, and we want Aiken families to know that this is only due to the fact that we are unable to host in-person events. We hope to give families a variety of fundraising opportunities throughout the year to pick and choose from. We would love to continue to support the school as we have in the past, but also do not want families to feel obligated to participate in every fundraising event. We understand that some families would prefer to not participate in our planned fundraising events, but still want to support the school. Please know that we always welcome monetary donations, and can be made via our Aiken paypal account. We are always open to ideas to improve our mission, so please contact us with any questions or concerns.

Lyman Pie Pickup is Monday, November 23rd, between 11:15- 3:00. A few reminders for pickup:
- Pickup will be at the side door directly across from the teachers parking lot. This is where K and 1st grade used to line up.
- Please bring your own bags or boxes to carry your purchases home.
- Products must be put in the freezer immediately after pick up.
- Pies must be picked up on 11/23, between 11:30-3:30. We do not have storage to keep these pies cold.
- No returns allowed.
We are sold out of Go-cards,
but will be taking names at pie pickup for those who are still interested. At pickup you will be able to fill out the order form and pre-pay. We will mail them or send them home with your child. Save your family money, while supporting the school and local businesses! 1 card for $20, or 2 cards for 30.

We have sold a total of 291 items, which amounts to $1696 profit to support the school. We love the custom wrapping paper, the chocolate mint penguins, the monogrammed wristlets, the reusable produce bags, and the glass dispenser bottles. Some families have already received their orders. Please check out the website if you haven't. A few things to keep in mind:
- This fundraiser ends on 11/30.
- Students do not need to manage order forms or checks
- Students send out emails to friends and family giving them access to the Charleston Wrap site. This is to ensure Aiken benefits from the sale.
- Purchases can only be made online and will be sent directly to the buyer
- Flat rate shipping starts at $8.95 and any order over $85 qualifies for free shipping.

I AM GRATEFUL FOR MY TEACHER BECAUSE...
Thanksgiving is coming! Let's help our children show their appreciation for all the things their teachers have done to keep them healthy, happy, safe and educated this school year! You will find in your child's folder a sheet they can cut out and fill out for their teacher(s) - please feel free to print out as many copies as you like for multiple teachers (or staff).
We've also attached the sheet to this email for ease of printing.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD BRING THEIR COMPLETED SHEETS IN ON TUESDAY!
On Tuesday there will also be signs and balloons around the school to show our teachers how grateful we are for them.
If you are sending completed sheets in for special's teachers, please have the teacher's name posted on the form so they can get put into the teacher's mailbox. Help us shower all our teachers and staff with thanks!
