Parents Night Out Introductory Meeting: November 16th at 7PM
Our PNO Committee will be hosting its first planning meeting on November 16th at 7 pm. If you would like to attend please RSVP with Cassandra Toscano for more details. This year’s theme is “All Are Welcome” to mirror our new mural and celebrate the 55 countries representing our Aiken families. Parents’ Night Out is the largest fundraiser for the whole year and has supported so many important investments at Aiken like classroom smart boards, teacher wish list items, subscriptions for the school, field trips, etc. Please fill out this quick survey to help us plan for this year’s event. AIKEN PENNY WARS & BOOK FAIR
Aiken’s annual Scholastic Book Fair will be starting the week 11/14-11/18 so mark your calendar! In library classes the week before the fair, students will be hearing book talks about the books available for purchase at the fair and getting excited that it will be in person again! We want this book fair to be successful for not only the school, but for each child and family as well. To that end, we are asking for your help to make sure every Aiken student is able to purchase a book. Please help us by asking your child to donate change to the Aiken Penny Wars!! Each class will have their own bucket in their classroom to donate coins/dollars. 100% of the money collected will go to help Aiken students who may not be able to afford a book purchase a book at the book fair. Thank you so much for your help in supporting a lifelong love of reading in all Aiken students. Penny Wars will run from 11/1-11/14.

Please help us make the holidays special for families in need this season. The PTO is raising monetary donations to support families in Aiken's community. The money will be used to purchase gift cards for the families to use for holiday shopping. You can pay via check, paypal, and cash. See flyer for more details.

Also, don't forget pie pick up is on November 22, between 1:00 and 3:30PM. Pickup will take place on the back side of the stage in the auditorium. Please enter through the side door by the circle drive off of Hilldale. There will be a sign on the door.
