Happy Sunday Aiken Families,

We made it to break (almost), and what a year it has been. There are many words that come to mind to describe 2020, some of which we shall not use, But the one word that keeps coming up is "grateful" . Grateful, really??? After this year we have had, oh yes, grateful. With all the anger, sadness and loss we all have experienced, Its even more important to look at all that we have to be grateful for.

Grateful for our health care workers, front line workers, grocery store employees, just so many people out there working hard every day.

Grateful for our Aiken teachers and staff. From the very beginning of this pandemic they have all worked endlessly to ensure all our children continued to receive the education, support, emotional needs and love they all deserve and very much need. Teaching remote, hybrid, in school, out...the daily, last minutes changes, and they all do it, boy do they do it. We are so grateful! Thank you Aiken teachers and staff, thank you!

Grateful for all of our Aiken families. The generosity you all have shown is truly astonishing. Since September you all have helped the PTO  raise more then $7,000 through fundraising. Especially during uncertain times, these funds offer continued support for Aiken. WE THANK YOU.

Grateful for the outpouring of donations we received for our holiday drive.. with all your help we were more then able to fulfill entire family wish lists for some very special families. You all left us speechless, WE THANK YOU!

And grateful to finally be able to say goodbye to 2020! Its. Been. A. Year.

" Gratitude makes sense of our past, Brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow"
