PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE

Thank you to everyone who contributed to providing teachers with some special treats during this week of conferences.  Remember there is a 2:00 dismissal all week!

AIKEN’S GOT TALENT

So you think you have talent??!!  Calling all second through fifth graders!!  Do you have a cool talent you want to show off?  Sing? Dance?  Juggle fire??  Try out for the Aiken’s Got Talent show and impress your teachers and friends!

All tryout submissions must be submitted by March 31st to Abiah Ruel at abiahruel@gmail.com

Tryout submissions do not have to showcase your entire act, a short segment works just fine.  However, please keep in mind that all final acts must be no longer than 2 minutes long.

The final production will be a virtual talent show that will come out in early May (final date TBD).

Email Abiah with any questions.

West Hartford MLK Mural
The Town of West Hartford is partnering with CT Murals and local West Hartford artist, Corey Pane, to install a large-scale mural symbolizing the messages of Martin Luther King, Jr.
We want to hear from the West Hartford community to understand what MLK symbolizes to you.
This mural is part of CT Murals’ State-wide campaign to bring the message of love, unity, and equality through the symbolism of MLK, to 39 communities in CT. Each mural represents a year of Martin Luther King’s life.

More info about CT Murals can be found at www.ctmurals.org
