Hi Aiken Families,
We would like to thank all the families who attended our Fall Festival on Saturday. It was so great to see our Aiken Community on a beautiful fall day to enjoy being together and have some fun! During the event we finished up our coat and winter gear drive. We received a TON of donations. The community outreach committee contacted Battiston’s in Avon who is cleaning all of the coats free of charge. They will then donate the winter items to The Bridge here in town. We also received quite a bit of canned food at the event; that will be donated to the food pantry located at town hall this week. You can check out pictures from the event as well as the donated coats below. Thank you for all of your participation and donations!
Fundraising:
We have some good fundraisers coming up in November. Everyone should have received a Charleston Wrap packet that was sent home with your student this past week. Our Charleston Wrap fundraising campaign started on 10/17/22, and your help is essential!
With the funds raised this year we can look forward to supporting so many fun Aiken events as well as upgrades to the technology our kids rely on every day.
Our fundraising sales only last a few short weeks! So do these quick, easy things today:
1) Register your participant online by going to registercw.com and enter our Organization ID 21533
2) Invite friends and family to shop and support! Send emails, share on social media, and text the fundraising link to your friends & family to quickly spread the word!
3) Charleston Wrap fundraising information come home last week!
In other fundraising news, be prepared to pick up your Lyman pies on November 22, between 1:00 and 3:30PM. The Fundraising committee will send out specifics on location closer to the date.

Parents Night Out:
It is crazy to think that we are already planning for events in the Spring, but we are now looking to organize our annual Parents Night Out. Cassandra Toscano is our new PNO chair for this year and she is excited to announce that planning for our event has now started. This year’s theme is “All Are Welcome” to mirror our new mural and celebrate the 55 countries representing our Aiken families. Parents’ Night Out is the largest fundraiser for the whole year and has supported so many important investments at Aiken like classroom smart boards, teacher wish list items, subscriptions for the school, field trips, etc. Please fill out this quick survey to help us plan for this year’s event. Thank you and we cannot wait to see you there!
