Dear Doniphan Families,

As part of our 1st quarter service project, Doniphan will be adopting a school in the greater Houston area to help them with their clean up and rebuilding process. We have been in contact with a teacher at a middle school in the Spring Independent School District in Spring, Texas.

They have set up an Amazon wish list page on top of some additional supplies she has told me they are in need of. They are greatly in need of cleaning supplies and hygiene products to help in the clean-up process. We will be collecting donations all of this week, September 18th through September 22nd. Below are items that we will be collecting.

The easiest way to donate is by choosing an item on the Amazon Wishlist and having it shipped directly to the school (it will say Jessica Padfield, Tomball, TX in the Shipping Address options). This saves on shipping costs and gets items delivered quickly.

Sit down with your child, talk about why we are sending donations and let them help you choose. If you like, you can even print off a picture of the item for your child to bring in and we will add it to our school-wide collection.

Please let Melissa Gleason know if you have any questions at melissa.gleason@lps53.org . Thank you for helping us support schools in the greater Houston area!
