UPDATED 10/28/19 @10am -- Trunk or Treat will be INSIDE in the GYM due to weather!
Trunk hosts will set up at tables around the walls of the gym. Buzz in at the main doors when you arrive to set up (we suggest you arrive by 5:30) and tell KidZone you are a trunk or treat volunteer.
Families will enter at the GYM DOORS beginning at 6pm and trunk or treat around the gym.
Trunk hosts--Bring in any decorations you feel will work indoors. You're welcome to use tape on the walls (cinderblock) and tables, but please note there are no electrical outlets available in the gym.
If you have any tailgate type games (cornhole, ring toss, etc), feel free to bring those along and set them up in the middle of the room or at your "trunk" for the kids to play. We will have music and glowsticks for the kids.
We are anticipating a large turnout for this event, so please be prepared for 360-400 kids. PTA has some extra candy to refill if you run out, but supplies are limited.
The event ends at 7 and you can break down your decorations at that time. Thank you for making this a fun event for our kids!
Halloween Trunk or Treat - Sign up to decorate and pass out candy during our Trunk or Treat Event!
By Signing up to host a trunk for our Trunk or Treat event you are agreeing to the following:
- Arrive in the parking lot no later than 5:30pm to setup. (parking lot gates will close at 5:30pm and no cars will be allowed to enter/exit after that time for the safety of our kids).
- Decorate your car in an age appropriate manner for Halloween.
- Supply your own candy/goodies for approximately 360 children.
- Remain in our closed lot until we reopen the gates at 7pm when the event is over. (Absolutely no cars will be permitted to enter or exit the parking lot during the event).
Due to space in the parking lot, there are only 25 spots available. Once they are filled we will not be able to accept additional signups. If you become unable to attend the event, please remove your name by October 25th so we may find a replacement. If you have any questions or issues please email Jessica Rix at email@example.com. Thanks for helping make this event a great one for our kids!
Teal Pumpkin: Consider providing a non-food option to those kids with food allergies or dietary restrictions. We will provide a teal pumpkin for your trunk at the event so those trick-or-treaters can identify you.
