The Methacton Coordinating Council would like to invite all interested Methacton parents and guardians to the second meeting of the Special Education Alliance (SEA). The goal for this newly-formed committee is to bring back the support network and information sessions previously offered by the Methacton Advocacy and Education Network. The meetings will provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to connect and decide on topics and events that would be most beneficial to the Methacton special needs community.
The next meeting will take place on November 28th at 7PM in the Methacton High School Library. We will discuss and review a tentative schedule of topics for the balance of the school year as determined by the planning committee on November 18th. Topics include: Methacton’s Special Education Team on Transitions, Executive Function, Strategies for ADHD, Social Skills Development and more.
The SEA will meet the last Monday of the month, from 7-9 p.m. in the library at MHS. Please mark your calendars as follows:11/28, 12/19, 1/30, 2/27, 3/27, 4/24, 5/22, 6/5
