As we all know, Zoom can throw curveballs at us from time to time. Here are some tips to use if you have trouble accessing your student's Zoom meeting.
1. Problem: Host not letting you in to the session.
Solution: Leave the Zoom session if the host doesn't let you in more than 2 minutes into the session. Sign out of Zoom and restart the sign in process.
2. Problem: When you join a Zoom session, the screen says "This meeting is for internal participants only...".
a. Close all Zoom windows and sessions.
b. Go to Zoom website via browser: sfusd.zoom.us
c. Sign in as student
d. Click in SETTINGS on left side of screen
e. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click REGENERATE (in blue) . After you do so, you should see a note that says "The credential has been updated." in green.
f. Join the Zoom meeting as you normal would do.
