🎃 Fall Fest ~ October 26: Advance Entrance Sales Begins Now! ðŸŽƒ

Fall Fest is an annual community event, happening on Saturday October 26th, 4 to 7pm at our school. There will be festival games, a DJ, food trucks, Musical Cakes + Cake Decorating Competition, face painters, balloon artists, and our annual  5th Graders’ Haunted House. This year we are also adding a special section celebrating Latin American heritage with a Dia de los Muertos Ofrenda and crafts.

Advance entrance passes for our Fall Fest are available as of NOW and for a limited time on Konstella! When purchasing in advance, the entry fee is $5 per person, while entry at the door will be $8. Children under 17 get 5 attraction tickets included with your entrance purchase. Extra attraction tickets will be sold during the event. Click below to buy your entrance pass now.

Musical Cakes - Decorating Competition

This is a wildly popular event similar to Musical Chairs where students can win a cake to take home. To make the Musical Cakes successful, we will need dessert donations from Bancroft families. Donated cakes can be store-bought or homemade. There will be a Cake Decorating Competition, so if you're baking a cake feel free to have some fun decorating it for a chance to win one of our prizes (Fall,Halloween or Dia de los Muertos themes preferred)!

Haunted House

Every year, together with Ms. Alisa’s help and amazing parent volunteers, 5th Graders decide on a theme, help set up and provide all the acting and atmosphere to create a truly haunting experience. It is a whole theater production! This year be prepared to survive a Haunted Hospital: Virus Outbreak… Will you dare to come inside? We will have a special lights-on for a less-scary show run from 4 to 4:30.

Dia de los Muertos Ofrenda and Crafts*

Come be a part of this Latino cultural tradition celebrating the lives of loved ones. Learn more about this popular time-honored  tradition with beautiful crafts that all your family members can enjoy. You may take your creations home with you, or help our Dia de los Muertos Altar grow.

We would not be able to run a successful event without the help of the volunteers. Please keep an eye on upcoming signups on Konstella. For any questions, contact Ms Alisa at kutsela@mdusd.org or Maria Jose Castilla castilla.majose@gmail.com.
