THE BANCROFT WALK-A-THON IS COMING OCTOBER 25th!
Our fundraising goal for this event is $27,000 (that's just $50 raised per student, so we encourage everyone to solicit pledges and participate)
Volunteers Still Needed:
Walk-A-Thon raises money for the current school year to help fund playground supplies, the garden program, the STEAM program, technology improvements, teacher materials and library books.
How it works: Students get family and friends to sponsor them based on number of laps completed during the event or with a flat donation. Students and classes can earn prizes based on their participation and donation collection. We hope to reach our $27,000 goal with the amazing support of our Bancroft community!
How to pay: Cash, check (made payable to “Bancroft PFC”) or online with 99pledges (https://app.99pledges.com/fund/bancroftelementary2019 ). Students and classes can earn prizes based on their participation and donation collection.
- Wednesday, October 23rd=Bring fundraising envelopes to school so we can tally your students laps. Any flat rate donations can also be turned in with envelopes at this time (or collected later with pledged monies by Nov 4th).
- Friday October 25th = WALK-A-THON!!!!!!!!! Laps are tallied, recorded and envelopes are sent home to finish collecting per lap money.
- Monday, November 4th= Turn in collected pledge donations and any additional monies in envelope.
Calling all Bobcats! Lace up your running shoes and get ready for the 10th annual Bancroft Walk-A-Thon! Parents, family members and friends are encouraged to participate as well, so mark your calendars and plan to come walk or run with your Bancroft student!
