Monday through Thursday this week (Nov. 7th-Nov. 10th) there will be a food donation barrel at Bancroft Elementary near the entrance by the lost and found.  Bancroft families are encouraged to donate food which will be collected by our school's Cub Scout Pack and brought to the Contra Costa Food Bank.  Also, this week cub scouts will be leaving flyers on doors telling about Scouting for Food drive on Saturday morning, Nov. 12th.  If you receive a Scouting for Food door hanger flyer on your door you can leave shelf-stable food outside your home on Saturday morning, Nov. 12th before 10 a.m. for pickup by the Cub Scout Pack.  Thank you for considering donating food to the Contra Costa Food Bank through Scouting for Food this year.
