Dear Bobcats, we are excited to have a Día de los Muertos Altar in MUR this year again during Fall Fest and continuing through November 2. If your child would like to contribute a photograph or an item to remember a loved one, we invite students to bring it to the office by this Friday, or to bring it to Fall Fest to place it on the Altar.
If so, please include your child’s name and class on the back. Please note that we will try, but we cannot be responsible for returning your items to you after the altar is taken down, so please don’t send anything fragile or that you would be sorry to lose. We do have a few items left from last year that will be placed on the Ofrenda again. For more information about Dia de los Muertos, please refer to the attached handout. For any adults interested in helping decorate the altar, we’ll be meeting TODAY, Wednesday at 3:00pm in MUR. Please contact Tatiana Khan or Elizabeth Silva with any questions.
