Fall Fest is an annual community event, this year held on Saturday October 21st, 4:30-7:30pm at Bancroft Elementary. There will be fair type games on the black top, a DJ, food trucks, Cake Walk + Cake Decorating Competition and a Haunted House.

Cake Walk and Cake-Decorating Competition
The Cake Walk will be back at Fall Fest!  This is a wildly popular event similar to Musical Chairs where students can win a cake to take home, and it is an important fund raiser for 5th grade activities.  To make the Cake Walk successful, we will need cake donations from Bancroft families.  Donated cakes can be store-bought, or homemade!  Those who donate homemade cakes will have the option to enter their cakes into a Cake-Decorating competition for prizes

Haunted House
This is a Bancroft tradition where 5th graders help decide on themes, help set up and provide all the acting and atmosphere to a Haunted House. This year we have two spaces: CarnEvil, a scary maze through the STEAM lab, and Forbidden Forest a self-guided, lightly spooky walk through the magical and mystical Garden. There are no tickets to enter the Haunted House or Fall fest, but we will be accepting donations that will go towards 5th grade Activities (such as outdoor ed, graduation party, yearbooks, etc)

We would not be able to run a successful event without the help of the volunteers. Please keep an eye on upcoming sign ups on Konstella to help us make these events a lasting memory for our Bobcats! For any questions, contact Ms Alisa at kutsela@mdusd.org
