Help us keep Academy/Intervention at Bancroft — Fund A Need is still open
Fri, Mar 27 12:37pm

Dear Bancroft Community,

If you weren't at our auction and gala, we wanted to make sure you had a chance to hear firsthand about Academy: Bancroft’s Intervention Program.

Academy is unique to Bancroft and is a product of Principal Flynn's vision, giving structure to the Instructional Assistants the PFC has been funding for years. It has quickly become a differentiator, setting Bancroft apart from other schools in the area by giving every kid a little more support during the school day..

This program ensures that every student receives daily support to thrive; providing targeted instruction, small group learning, and additional teacher support that strengthens both confidence and academic growth across all grade levels.

If you're not familiar with the Academy Program (or didn't realize we had one), we invite you to watch our short video to learn more about the impact it has on our students and teachers every day.

Program Highlights

  • Full-time Intervention Teacher
  • 4 Highly Trained Instructional Assistants
  • Daily small group learning for every student
  • Total program cost: ~$319K

In order to continue this program in 2026/2027, our community will need to fund $228,759 (71% of the total cost). If it isn't funded, it doesn't continue, and every classroom from Kinder to 5th grade will feel the difference.

If you're able to give, please consider a one-time donation to our Fund A Need campaign:
