Connecting our Community

Letter from our PFC President

Dear Bobcat Families,

As we are in the season of Thanksgiving,  I want to thank you for making Bancroft a better place and appreciate your community support.  Here are few things that I am thankful for:

-Thanks a million to Tatyana Espinoza and Tatyana Leskowicz and the many parent Fall Fest volunteers.  This is the fourth graders’ fundraiser for their outdoor education camp in 2019.

-Many thanks to the amazing Kristin Carrillo for organizing a fun Walk-a-thon.  Stephanie Lee- we couldn’t have pulled off this event without your guidance.   Thanks a bunch to the children and the parents for supporting, donating, cheering and participating in the walk-a-thon.

-On Walnut Creek Service Day, led by Matt Gould,  volunteers spruced up our garden and painted paw prints.  Great job!

We, as a Bancroft Community, are very fortunate to have enough.  Here are some ways we can participate, celebrate with us, or lend a hand.

-Shop at the SPORTS BASEMENT for 20% off till 12/9 and part of the profits benefit Bancroft.

-FOOD DRIVE and NEW COAT DRIVE till 12/21.  Food and coat bin is located in the office.  All food goes to the Contra Costa Food Bank. New coats will be distributed by White Pony Express to needy local families.

-Please join us at the first, free HOLIDAY FAMILY DANCE PARTY on 12/7.  The 4th graders will be selling food and beverages to raise money for their next year’s outdoor education.

-Find a book at the Book Fair in the MUR on 12/14-12/21.

-Dine-to-Donate at Yalla on 12/12.  They will donate 50% of the profits to Bancroft.

I wish you a safe, happy, healthy holiday and for everyone to always have enough.  I hope to see you at the Dance Party.

Go Bobcats!

Fall Fest was Fun for All!

This year's Fall Fest was a huge success!! It was a beautiful fall day, allowing for Bancroft families and friends to attend and enjoy all the wonderful festivities. A big thank you to everyone who attended to raise money for the 4th graders to put towards next year's Outdoor Education trip! We would like to thank the entire Fall Fest committee for making this fun event possible and to all of our sponsors for their generous donations. And an extra big thank you to everyone who volunteered the day of the festival and to all the baker's who donated to the cake walk!
