Online auction starts tomorrow at 8am!

Bancroft Elementary

Hello Bancroft Families!

The online auction starts at 8am tomorrow.  There will be some very exciting items that may interest you.  Please note that you can view and purchase items via the online auction without attending the actual auction event on 3/24.  You don't have to buy a ticket for the online auction, just click on the link after 8am tomorrow and place bids.   Some items you can purchase outright, others you will bid on.

I would like to highlight the "first come, first serve" items.

Teacher for a day:  Some of the teachers have volunteered to have a student work with them for the day.  There is only one spot available per teacher and first one to purchase wins the spot.  Make sure to read the description to ensure your child meets the requirements.  New this year will be "Cafeteria worker for the day."  Only three spots available, inculdes snack and lunch.
  • "Bear Hugs"  We have stuffed animal cats/dogs/etc that you can purchase to send to your child or a staff member of your choosing.  Your child will be called to the office at the end of the year to receive their special stuffed animal along with a personalized note.  There are limited numbers so get them while supplies last!  You will be contacted after the close of the silent auction to give us information about the recipient of the animal along with your message.
  • "Finishing touches" hairdo:  Can't figure out how to do your hair for the auction on 3/24?  Purchase a spot with our stylists who will set up shop at the auction to help you with your finishing touches.  Maybe a fun scrunchie or banana clip will finish off your 'do.  Or maybe a "bang tease" or hair crimp with neon hair streak.  Whatever you decide, there are limited time slots so get them while they are hot!
Other items you can bid on:
  • The much coveted "Principal for a day" or "Librarian for a day."  Since this is Mrs. Gay's last hoorah before she retires, it is sure to be a big seller
  • Museum tickets such as Children's Creativity Museum, Exploratorium, SF Moma and more
  • Family excursion such as SF Zoo, Oakland Zoo, Fairyland and Gilroy Gardens
  • Skip the line at info days!  We all know what a drag waiting in line is for info days.  Winner will get to cut the line and save lots of time. Priceless.
  • Weeks of summer camp at Dianne Adair!

Bidding opens at 8am tomorrow morning, Saturday 3/3.  Check back frequently for more additions.  Here is the link for the online auction:

If you are interested attending our 80s themed live auction, tickets are going fast and this will sell out.  Less than a quarter of the tickets remain.  Here is the link to purchase tickets for the 3/24 event at Heather Farm.
