The 13th Annual Walk-A-Thon fundraiser is coming up on November 4th. This is a great, healthy, FUN event that raises money for our school. Each class is asked to provide some volunteers for the event.

Each classroom needs 2 volunteer parents to help out on the field before, during, and after the run by holding signs to gather students, distributing lap count bracelets, recording laps on the roster after students are done walk/running, and passing out water. We also need volunteers to help with set up and clean up. These volunteer opportunities take 45 minutes or less and are essential to making our Walk-A-Thon a success.

Reminders

• Spectators are allowed on campus this year to cheer on our students. We are not allowing parents to run with students this year to limit crowding and maximize student safety.
• Please dress your child in comfortable clothes and shoes the day of the event. Rockstar dress up is encouraged!
• Checks can be made payable to Bancroft PFC or you can donate online at https://app.99pledges.com/fund/bancroftwa

Important Dates

• Wednesday November 2: Bring fundraising envelopes back to school so we can tally your students laps. Any flat donations can also be turned in with envelopes at this time.
• Friday November 4th: Walk-A-Thon! Laps are tallied, recorded, and envelopes are sent home to finish collecting per-lap pledge money.
• Monday November 14th: Turn in collected pledge donations and any additional monies in envelope.
