Walk-a-Thon is Tomorrow!

Here are some reminders and important information to make sure everyone is ready:

Preparation Tips

• Dress Comfortably: Make sure your child wears comfortable clothing and shoes. Though it’s called a Walk-a-Thon, many kids end up running. Be prepared for wet grass due to recent rain.

Envelopes

• Send Sponsor Envelopes to school:  please make sure your child brings their sponsor envelope to school tomorrow if you haven’t sent it already. Volunteers will tally the laps and record the "Total Amount Due from Sponsor." Students will receive their tallied envelope back to collect pledges from sponsors and should return it with collected funds to school by Friday, 11/22.

Pledges

• There’s Still Time to Collect: It’s not too late to gather pledges in person or online via 99Pledges. We’re currently at 61% of our $53,000 goal, so every bit helps!

Spectators

• Parents are Welcome: Families are encouraged to come cheer on the students and motivate them to complete as many laps as possible! Please see the attached entry instructions. Parents should enter and exit through the gate near Dianne Adair, without needing to sign in at the office. For student safety, we ask that families stay in the designated Walk-a-Thon area.
• Campus Access: If you need to visit other parts of campus beyond the Walk-a-Thon spectator area, please check in at the office and obtain a visitor pass.
