Parent Ed Webinar: Gender Development in Early Childhood and Adolescence When: Monday, March 25 Where: 6:30 PM- 8:00 PM over Zoom, Password: 297536 Gender has morphed from are you a boy or a girl? to a question that is much more complex. If you are hoping to more fully understand this changing landscape, join us for an informative session with Joel Baum, director of education at the Child & Adolescent Gender Center at UCSF. He will help us get gender literate, from the importance of pronouns to understanding what it means to be non-binary, to how gender develops and how we can best support our children and their friends in being their most authentic selves. We will have a parent perspective, a former student perspective, and time for Q&A. This is a webinar format, so attendance is anonymous. Sponsored by the PTAs of Barron Park, JLS, Ohlone and Walter Hays Register for the event here. Submit questions here

Health and Wellness Tip: Being Safe at School Share your thoughts about PAUSD’s safety policies in this Google Form Whenever you see something that endangers the physical or mental health of anyone - student, staff, or others - on campus, find a trusted adult, and then report it - as yourself or anonymously. See the flyer for more details. When we look out for each other, we build community and keep each other safe and well.
