The Bay Farm Science & Engineering Fair is fast approaching, and we need passionate volunteers with a science or engineering background to serve as judges! This exciting event showcases the creativity and innovation of K-8 students, and your expertise can help make it a success.

Event Details

📅 Date: March 11
📍 Location: Bay Farm School - MPR
⏰ Schedule:

• 8:20 AM – Arrive & sign in at the front office
• 8:30 AM – Judge orientation
• 8:40 AM – Judging begins
• 11 AM-12 PM – Judging concludes

Your Role as a Judge

🔹 Evaluate student projects
🔹 Ask engaging questions
🔹 Provide constructive feedback to inspire young scientists

We’re also looking for volunteers to escort students between their classrooms and the MPR during their presentations.

🔹 Classroom Runners (8 slots)
Help escort students to and from their classrooms for their science fair interviews in the MPR. A great way to support and encourage young scientists!
🕗 Time: 8:20 AM - 12 PM

🔹 Table Set-Up & Sign-In (4 slots)
Arrive early to check in student projects, ensure boards are labeled correctly, and help set up for an exciting day of discovery.
🕗 Time: 7:45 AM - 8:20 AM

🔹 Coffee & Pastries Pickup from Starbucks (1 slot) Pick up from Bay Farm Starbucks, drop off at school (no payment). Help keep our 30  hardworking volunteers energized by picking up and bringing coffee and breakfast goodies donated by local Starbucks.
🕗 Pick up time: 7:30 AM - 7:45 AM
