🐬 On the 5th Day of Giving: The Garden Grows With Your Help
Fri, Dec 13 7:19am

Hello Dolphin Community,

It's day 5 of our donation drive, and we’ve raised $33,020 of our $62,000 goal with an additional $4,650 in pending employer matches!

At Bay Farm, students don’t just learn about science — they live it in our award-winning gardening program.

Led by Farmer Marianne, this weekly program fosters eco-literacy through guided garden instruction and outdoor exploration. Students learn that their actions create sustainable communities, preparing them to tackle global challenges.

Let’s hear from the visionary teacher who championed this program:

What is special about our program is that it's not just an occasional activity. Every student spends time each week observing, planting, using tools, and growing food all year long. We teachers see our students come back to class excited about the work they did, the food they ate, the fun they had learning outdoors. And, because half our class is with Farmer Marianne, teachers can take advantage of the opportunity to focus instruction on a smaller group of students. - Michelle Kuttner, 3rd Grade

But this program depends on your generosity. The PTSA spends nearly $40,000 annually which includes staff salaries, supplies, and more.

By donating today, you’re planting seeds for a brighter future.
