The Bay Farm GoGreen Team and Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools are pumped to announce the 2025 Golden Sneaker Contest is happening March 3–14, 2025! During this well-loved event, Alameda County students, classrooms, and schools will participate to see who can walk, roll, carpool, and/or use public transit the most.

Did you know walking/rolling to school helps us:

• Reduce vehicle emissions, which is critical to keeping our air and planet clean!
• Achieve the CDC’s recommended amount of 60 minutes of daily exercise. 
• Incorporate physical activity before school, which boosts academic performance and supports mental health.

Earn the Golden Sneaker trophy for your classroom and the prized Golden Shoelaces for each student in your classroom!
