I hope you all are having a wonderful break.   I have 2 important announcements!

1) Please mark your calendars for an amazing event we have coming up. 

Calling all 8th Graders at Bay Farm and other Alameda schools! Interested in maximizing your success and happiness in high school and beyond? Attend a free workshop on 1/13/25 at 5 P.M. at Bay Farm School hosted by the Bay Farm PTSA and Master Plan Academy, an EdTech & Coaching company that helps teens design their lives and reach college admissions success.

The topics covered will include:

• Discovering Purpose: Using design thinking tools to help students connect their interests and talents to meaningful opportunities, including extracurriculars.
• Building Social Skills: Interactive exercises on making strong first impressions and building friendships in high school.
• Success Strategies for High School: Tools for managing time, staying organized, and learning effectively.
• Making the College Connection: Laying the foundation for a strong and confident path toward college readiness. We would connect the other three topics to college admissions success.

2) Also, teacher of the year nominations are open now.   So, if you have a teacher you would like to nominate for this prestigious award, please follow this link.
