Welcome Back, Dolphins! 🐬

Kick off the new school year with fun and community at our Back to School Expo on Wednesday, August 13!

Bring your family and join us after school at noon or come back at 5 PM to enjoy:

  • Delicious bites from food trucks
  • Music and good vibes from DJ Zip
  • Gearing up with Bay Farm apparel and swag, and contributing to planners and parties
  • Meeting our new principal, Ms. Rahima
  • Learning about PTSA and community programs, and more
  • Live Scan in the library for adults completing their volunteer registration

Whether you're coming to learn, eat, shop, or dance—there’s something for everyone. Let’s start the school year strong—see you there! 🐬

📚The Used Book Sale Returns!
Back by popular demand, our library is sponsoring a Used Book Sale fundraiser. Have children's books (board books to teen) in good condition that need a new reader? Bring them to the Bay Farm School Library table at the Expo! Thank you so much for your contributions. Children's DVDs and videos (VHS) welcome too!

🙋🏻Volunteer Registration and Live Scan Information

If you’re new to volunteering at Bay Farm School and plan to volunteer on campus more than twice this year, you’ll need to complete a Live Scan (background check) and submit TB test results or a waiver.

Don’t worry—we have a volunteer coordinator to guide you through the process. To make things easier, we’re offering on-site Live Scan services at the Expo. (Good news: you only need to do this once while your student is at AUSD!)

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Bring a current, unexpired government-issued photo ID that includes a signature. A California Driver License or California Identity Card is preferred.
  • Cost is $67 per person.
  • Payment options are Apple/Google Pay, Debit/Credit card, and cash. We ask that you pay for your own Live Scan if you are able to. However, if the cost presents a hardship, we have limited funds available to cover the fee.
