Summer is almost here and it's time to close down our beautiful library. It has been an awesome year. We have added hundreds of books to the collection this year due to our many PTSA fundraising events like the book fairs and Used Book Sale! Thank you to the entire community for supporting our library! A Few Reminders and Updates
Please return all library books :) Any book with a Bay Farm bar code and spine label belongs in the library. You can drop it off any time between now and the last day of school. Emails will be sent next week to families with books still checked out. If a book is lost, we do ask you to replace it if possible. You can send in cash, or buy the book and send it in. Our books are hardbound. Summer Reading Recommendations
Reading habits begin at home! Help instill a love of reading this summer! The research on excessive device use on the brains of young children is pretty concerning. Take this list to the Alameda Free Library, sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge, and get them reading something fun! You are never too old to read WITH your child. I've read many of the books on the list and they are fun for adults too! Thank You Bay Farm Families!
Thank you to the PTSA for supporting the library program! While I raise over $4,000 in funds for the PTSA, they funnel it directly back to the library. Most recently the PTSA Fund-A-Need Program replaced a very old, but very popular set of books. The kids are so excited! Thank you to all Bay Farm families for supporting our beautiful library!
