Bay Farm PTSA Donation Drive

Read time: 2 min Action: Help fund reading & math support

Hello Bay Farm Families,

Thanks to our amazing community, we’ve reached (almost) 60% of our $50,000 goal! Let’s keep the momentum going.

Reading and math are the foundation for lifelong learning. This year, the PTSA invested $15,000 to fund small-group reading and math intervention—programs the district does not fully cover. Every $80 raised funds one day of support, giving students targeted instruction and materials that help them build confidence and thrive.

Last year, Bay Farm students scored among the highest in the district on state assessments—a reflection of our dedicated educators, hardworking students, and the generosity of families who help fund what the district cannot.

“As a longtime educator, I cannot emphasize the value of our early reading intervention support enough. When a student enters the middle grades with reading challenges, their learning gaps accelerate. Having strong support for early reading intervention programs is invaluable to keep those students feeling confident and progressing in their education.”
