From the President
Happy Thursday Bay Farm Families,
We are moving our February PTSA meeting from the 5th to the 13th because we didn't want to conflict with literacy night. Please mark your calendars and join us on the 13th
Last night's Karaoke night was a success. We have a lot of talent in the Bay Farm students!
All lost and found items will be donated at over President's Week. Please take an extra look through the items and make sure to take what is yours. Additionally, I need a volunteer to pick up the “lost and found” clothing etc., wash it and then donate it. Please let me know if you would be able to do this.
Finally, I wanted to let everyone know that the Bay Farm PTSA now has ShopRaise. You can shop at almost 1000 retailers and the PTSA will receive 10% on each transaction. It is as simple as downloading an app and can be used for everything from gift cards at retailers like Amazon and Home Depot to individual purchases. If you are purchasing products for the PTSA be sure to use it!

- Girls on the Run is an after-school program that uses the power of running to build healthy, confident girls. At each practice, teams focus on a critical skill for next-generation leadership, including confidence, motivation, self-awareness, growth mindset, boundary-setting, and empathy.
- Trained coaches use our curriculum to guide discussion and fun games that bring the day's topic to life. The active games lead to a running workout that incorporates elements of the day's lesson. Physical fitness and strong team relationships are built throughout the season.
- The culminating event is a 5K run/walk celebration that brings together 75+ Girls on the Run teams from across our 5-county region.
- Girls on the Run is one of only 3 programs recognized by the Harvard Graduate School of Education as a top social-emotional learning (SEL) experience.
