The library is sponsoring an art contest, and winning pieces will be featured in the library! (K–1 art is displayed in other ways.) To enter, pick up a poster board in the library and return finished work there. Art will be judged by Bay Farm teachers and staff. Artwork must:

• Be related to a published youth book (fiction and nonfiction!)
• Fit the poster board provided
• Be CHILD's original work. No AI or parent help is allowed.
• Be 2 Dimensional
• Design the entire workspace
• Contain the title of the book, spelled correctly!

What does culture mean to your child? Whether they have an immediate answer or aren't quite sure, that's a great place to start creating. Students can explore the theme through art, music, dance, writing, photography, or film. Questions? Email reflections@bayfarmptsa.org.

There's more to vote on than candidates! Alameda voters will also decide on local infrastructure, regional transit, and City Charter measures this November.
