BIG CALENDAR UPDATES

We've had to make some updates to our printed calendar. Save these dates!

Note: Aughinbaugh will be closed for repaving on the original Fall Festival date of Saturday, October 18, so plan to avoid the road that day! We had to split Tomatina and Books Inc. due to the Barnes & Noble acquisition closure. We'll aim to have them back together next year!

Remember, import the Konstella calendar into your calendar to receive automatic updates. You can do that in the web app by going to the Calendar, and clicking “Sync to My Calendar” in the top right.

CLASSROOM PARTY FUND

Classroom Party

Suggested contribution: $15/student

Classroom parties bring joy, creativity, and connection to our students’ school days. Your support helps make these celebrations possible and ensures every child gets to join in the fun.

PTSA MEETING, WED. OCT. 8

6:30 PM in the MPR

Join us to learn more about our innovative Environmental Science & Gardening program led by Farmer Marianne.

Additional agenda items include: Financial Review for last year, Board/Committee Reports, and Budget Updates.

We aim to have volunteers watch the kids, but at the very least feel free to bring your kids and we will have coloring pages set up at a table. Thank you!

GET INVOLVED WITH PTSA

Our small PTSA team has been working overtime to bring you fun community events — but we can’t do it without you! This year, we have three big asks:

  1. Join the PTSA and come to our next General Membership Meeting on October 8 at 6:30 PM in the MPR.
  2. Volunteerexplore opportunities on Konstella! Don’t see a match? Reach out to our volunteer coordinator!
  3. Donate (and attend our PTSA events). Don’t forget to check if your employer offers company matching to maximize your impact.

ANXIOUS ABOUT OUR KIDS' FUTURE?

Join us for our next Parenting Book Club as we dive into The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. This thought-provoking — and somewhat controversial — book explores how modern technology and cultural shifts may be shaping today’s kids, sparking passionate conversations among parents and educators alike.

Come share your thoughts and join a lively discussion with fellow parents!

🗓️ Monday, October 20 at 7:00 PM @ Bay Farm School Library (Learn more)

CLOTHING DONATIONS NEEDED

Ms. Debbie needs simple clothes, socks, and underwear (TK–3 sizes) for office accidents. Stains and well-worn items are fine — drop donations in the office.

REMINDER: CALLING ALL ARTISTS

Reflections Arts Program

Reflections Arts Program

All Bay Farm students (including TK) are invited to exercise their creativity and submit original art in the areas of dance, film, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts. Learn how to enter and the rules for each entry.

Winners may go on to the city, district, state, and even national level competition!

This year’s theme is “I Belong …” All art must be original, with a unique title that relates to the theme. The deadline for submissions is November 15.
